Hofn H?fn was founded in the year 1966 and is one of the better established Hotels in the country. It's located in the center of the town and has a breathtaking view over the magnificent glaciers, the circle of mountains and the fjord.

Hofn
The name of this town "Hofn" means, "harbour". Sprawled across a sandy spit in the lagoon Hornafjordur, Hofn is surrounded by spectacular scenery. You can buy locally made handicrafts, including Icelandic jumpers, at Handradinn Hornafirdi, in the historical Pakkhusid, near the harbour.
