Levice is a town in western Slovakia. The town lies on the left bank of the lower Hron river The town is located in the north east corner of the Danubian Lowland, 110 km east of Bratislava, 40 km sout east of Nitra. |

Welcome in Levice
The first written record of Levice is from 1156 and mentions Martirius, the archbishop of Esztergom (Hungary), who consecrated the church in Bratka village dedicated to St.Martin. There was established a parish where the villages "villa Leua" and Vitk were annexed .
